The International Gabriele Foundation hosts Benefit Concerts – at regular intervals for the benefit of rescued animals on the Land of Peace – with great success! Through proceeds of the concerts as well as large and small donations, important projects could already be realized – for instance, building an urgently needed infirmary for sick animals.

Animals that are half-starved, neglected or orphaned find a new home on the Land of Peace of the Interna- tional Gabriele Foun- dation in which they can live in dignity according to their species. The International Gabriele Foundation also purchases the freedom of animals from terrible conditions or saves them from the butcher.

The International Altfeld Concerts  have meanwhile turned into a regular cultural event in the region. In an elegant atmosphere, friends of music and animals can experience beautiful music and enjoy a many-sided, always varied program: with pieces from chamber-music works to works for full orchestra from all epochs, often with performances by well-known artists and solists.

The concerts are attended by between 600 and nearly 1000 music and animal lovers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as from abroad, sometimes even from Africa and North and South America and regularly from other European countries. Anyone who was there once comes again and again.

Those attending the concerts also have the opportunity to inform themselves about the activities of the International Gabriele Foundation as well as about the music productions of the Santec Music Orchestra. The next concerts are planned to raise the means to build a new sheep shelter, which is urgently needed for the constantly growing number of rescued animals. And: Newborn lambs also grow quickly – and naturally need more space!

The Next Benefit Concert, an Easter Concert, will take place on Apr. 7, 2012 at 19:30.
