Iris – Rescued Cow as Though Transformed

An animal friend recently became aware of a cow's suffering and called the International Gabriele Foundation. She described the cow's fate as follows:

"The cow Iris is 6 years old and lived outdoors all her life. In the beginning, she was with other cows, but one after the other they were picked up and taken to the slaughter- house. One and a half  years ago, her last and only friend was taken from here – she was also slaughtered. "

The animal friend reported that in winter the farmer came very rarely to bring hay, because he did not dare to get off his tractor. He said Iris was mean and would attack people and that he certainly did not want to keep her in the pasture for another winter, because the danger that she would break out due to loneliness was too great. He wanted to shoot her right there in the pasture.

What seemed difficult in the beginning work- ed out! Iris could be rescued to the land of peace. After the re- ports about this "wild" and "aggressive" cow, the animal keepers of the International Gabriele Foundation prepared themselves for whatever might happen – but when Iris then arrived, they thought they were seeing a different cow.

There was no trace of meanness or  aggres- siveness. On the con- trary, Iris is a very dear, sensitive cow with a very fine feeling for whether people mean well with her. An example that shows us that we human beings should check our attitude and behavior toward the animals.

If we change this, if we are for  the animals instead of against them, we also help the animals to change their behavior – and step by step a new earth can develop, on which peace will prevail between man, nature and animals.

"Even $1.00 Helps!"

It is possible for us to give animals a home on the Land of Peace and to create new habitats for animals solely through the support of animal-loving people. All gifts from the heart that animal friends from all over the world bring together  are used  directly for the  benefit of the animals. Do you also want to help? "Even $1.00 Helps!"

The animals thank you!
